Step 3 – Now, you need to enter the recovery mode. For this, do the following:

- Now do the same with the Volume Down button.
- As the last step, press and hold the Power Button until you see the recovery mode screen on your iPhone.
Step 4 – You will see a message on the iTunes screen saying that there is an issue with your iPhone, and it should be updated or restored to fix the problem.
Step 5 – You will see a Restore option on the screen. Click it, and it will reset your iPhone.

Method 2: Use Settings to Reset Your iPhone
One way to reset your phone is to merely remove all of its settings and content through Settings. Even though this method has a lower probability of fixing your issue as compared to other methods, there’s no harm in trying it.
Requirements: The only requirement of this method is that the Find My iPhone feature should be disabled.
If the Find My iPhone feature is disabled on your phone, you can follow the steps I have mentioned below to remove all settings and content from your iPhone via phone Settings:
Step 1 – On your iPhone, go to Settings.
Step 2 – Now go to General and then Reset.
Step 3 – You will see a list of options here. Select Erase All Content and Settings.
Step 4 – At this point, a message will appear on your screen. Tap on the Erase iPhone option on the message.
Step 5 – You will be prompted to enter the device password. When you enter it, after a while, you will see an option that says Set Up as New iPhone. Select this option to complete the factory reset of your device.
