Transfer WhatsApp between Android and iPhone

Mobitrix WhatsApp Transfer supports to transfer all WhatsApp data including text messages, photos, videos from iPhone to iPhone, iPhone to Android, Android to iPhone and Android to Android.

Step 1. Conect Your Devices to Computer

Download and install Mobitrix WhatsApp Transfer on your computer and connect the 2 devices to computer with original USB cables.

To connect Android to PC, you should open and allow USB debugging from the device settings. To connect iPhone to PC, you should unlock the device and click on Trust on the iPhone screen when prompted.

After the 2 devices are connected by the program, click on ‘Transfer’ and the transferring process will get started.

Step 2. Transferring WhatsApp Messages

Please note that if the WhatsApp messages are transferred to iPhone, then Find My iPhone should be turned off on the destination iPhone.

For Android devices, the customized WhatsApp application will be installed by the program. The only difference between the customized version and official version is that the data in the customized version can be detected by the program while the data in the official version can not be detected.

The time of the transferring process depends on the data size of these messages.

Step 3. Successfully Transfer WhatsApp Messages

When the transferring process is completed, all the WhatsApp messages on the source device will be transferred to the destination device.

Back up WhatsApp Messages on iPhone/Android

Step 1. Conect the Devices to Computer

As I have mentioned in the past part, you should enable USB debugging to connect Android device or unlock iPhone to connect iPhone to computer.

Click on ‘Back Up’ when your iPhone or Android device is connected.

Step 2. Start to Back up WhatsApp Messages

During the backup process, don not disconnect your device to computer. It usually takes a few minutes to backup all the WhatsApp messages.

Step 3. Finish to Back up WhatsApp

You will get a notification when the backup process is finished.

Restore WhatsApp Messages to iPhone/Android

Step 1. Select a WhatsApp Backup File

Select the WhatsApp backup file listed below and connect your device that you need to restore the WhatsApp backup to and click on ‘Next’.

Step 2. Start to Restore WhatsApp Messages

If the WhatsApp messages are restored to your iPhone, ensure that WhatsApp has been installed and Find My iPhone has been turned off.

If the WhatsApp messages are restored to your Android phone, ensure that customized WhatsApp has been installed to store WhatsApp messages.

Step 3. Successfully Restore WhatsApp Messages

It usually takes several minutes to restore WhatsApp data. After that, you will be able to check the WhatsApp messages on your device.
